    Getting Ready for Kindergarten

As a result of developing a local preschool Spanish Program and owning a small teacher consultant business, I have had the wonderful privilege of working with preschoolers for the past 6 years. My experience has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of how young children learn and develop. I have come to realize, it is never too early to begin preparing your child for school; the earlier the better! Although our youngest daughter, Kellie does not start school until August of 2019, she will be turning 4 soon, which means time is of essence. This school year, I am focusing intently on preparing her for kindergarten, also known in…

    I’m Back…..

Happy New Year!!!!! It seems like forever since my last post. I’ve missed interacting with you guys so much. If any of you are wondering where I’ve been or what I’ve been doing then wonder no longer! “A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” Proverbs 10:4 One of the most difficult things for me to do when I became a stay-at-home mom was to cut my spending. Like most women, I have always really enjoyed shopping. It is actually therapeutic for me. However, when my husband and I decided I would quit my job to come home and raise our children, we had to establish a new budget, which meant less spending. Whether you are a stay-at-home mom or you work outside of the home, meeting the needs of children can be expensive. Fortunately, there are ways to cut costs and save…

    Keeping a Grateful Heart

It’s been a while since my last post. I have found myself extremely busy lately preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas, along with fulfilling my regular wifely and motherly duties. I’ve missed interacting with you all so much. I’ve been pondering, the subject matter for this blog entry for quite some time. What better time than now to write about keeping a grateful heart, especially since Thanksgiving is right around the corner? Everyday should be a day of thanksgiving in the lives of Christians. We should be thankful for everything (both big and small) God does in our lives. When we feel the desire to complain, we need only to…
